Amendments have been made to the Child Care Regulation under The Community Child Care Standards Act, that support a 45 per cent increase to net household income thresholds and allowable deductions resulting in expanded eligibility to the Child Care Subsidy Program effective February 6, 2022.

The Child Care Subsidy Program provides provincial support to eligible families to help with the cost of care by reducing child care fees for children from the ages of 12 weeks to 12 years.

NOTICE: New subsidy threshold rates will be effective in the Subsidy Eligibility Estimator, effective February 6, 2022.
The subsidy eligibility estimator will help you to estimate if you may be eligible for a subsidy, and if so, the amount of subsidy you may be eligible for. Please use the Subsidy Eligibility Estimator before filling out a subsidy application.
To be able to use the online subsidy application, you must first register. When you register, a user name and password will be provided to you. Registration allows you to save and view your application for up to 30 days.
Foster Agencies can login to their accounts on the Foster Child Subsidy Application page to complete and submit foster child subsidy applications online. If you do not yet have an account set up, please contact cdcfacility@gov.mb.ca.
